Backhoes
Backhoes were first developed by a company called JCB and appeared in 1953. Because the JCB company was a British company backhoes developed the name JCBs since it all started with this company that was started by Joseph Cyril Bamford. In 1957 the Case Corporation brought their first backhoes to market. Today there are numerous companies that produce backhoes. One of the great things about these machines is there versatility. many have the backhoe mounted on the back with a loader attachment on the front. This gives these machines the ability to dig as well has haul and load dirt.
Some of the most notable companies making backhoes include Hitachi, Case, Caterpillar, John Deere, Ford, JCB, Komatsu, Kubota, Massey Ferguson and Volvo. There are a few other companies but these are the most common at least in the Western Hemisphere.
